Choose Pink

Warmth and positivity are two of the many traits everyone hopes for in a living space. Still, on the foundation of neutral color schemes, CRI shares its inputs on highlighting pink as an accent piece.

A pink art piece can emit positive energy in any room. It creates a warm and mild ambiance that consequently catalyzes comfort and solitude. Try to collect an accent piece like "Mindscapes No. 9" (2013) as they can achieve a visual impression that is aesthetically pleasing in a living space.

"Mindscapes No. 9" (2013) originated from the Sudden Flight series that explores deprivation and meditation of hard work. The artist Chiqui Rodriguez' unique approach to blending acrylic pigments on canvas creates gem-like surfaces that she calls her “advection” technique in painting where it renders or moves substances of paint due to its bulk motion either via gravity or force. This iconic series features the artist's one of most enduring personal triggers that dates back to 2012 when the works were originally inspired by her encounters with Overseas Filipino Workers. The Sudden Flight exhibition was held at the Picasso Boutique Serviced Residences from 29 May – 18 July 2014.

Original paintings and limited edition prints of the Sudden Flight series are now available exclusively online. Choose from an installment plan to collect original paintings or a complimentary 50% off (Code: HOLIDAY50) for limited edition prints. Sold framed with Certificate of Authenticity.
