About Chiqui Rodriguez
Over three decades of Chiqui Rodriguez' life takes her from the Philippines' art capital in Angono (the hometown where she shared with national artists Carlos "Botong" Francisco and Lucio D San Pedro) to Berlin and various international art scenes. Granddaughter to a well-known realist artist - the late Perdigon Vocalan, Chiqui is known for her emotionally uplifting abstract paintings.

Chiqui Rodriguez' paintings have all gone up in value since 2000. Globally, 25 artworks from the "Sparkling radiance in the midst of still air" series exhibited in Nothing but the Stars Private Sale in Berlin have been sold out. Her paintings namely "Manifestation - Painting No.1" and Nothing but the Stars Series No.1 - Bright Lights (Panel 13)" have been included in the Saatchi Art Showdown exhibition from 2011 and 2012.

In the Philippines, DMCI, a construction giant in Manila, commissioned the artist to do a series of paintings named "Quintessence of Faith" installed at one of their luxury properties in Manila. Another important hallmark in her career was the auction of "Manifestation - Painting No. 19" in Salcedo Auctions | Gavel&Block, a premier auction house in the Philippines.

Her art and design encompass an astonishing variety of media including painting, drawing, music covers, and interior design to name a few. Her abstract art ranges from coffee on paper featuring "intense" post-modern imagery, to her "advection" painting that exemplifies the movement of paint due to force and transforms into celestial bodies. Her limited edition paintings continue to rise in value that makes her one of the most sought-after living artists, and an important voice in the art scene.

Chiqui's paintings are collected by the diplomatic community, art collectors, investors, politicians, businessmen, young professionals, and corporations in Southeast Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and Latin America. Aside from its investment value, the artworks are perfect for decorating homes, office buildings, schools, restaurants, and public spaces.
She completed the Doctor of Communications program at the University of the Philippines and executive education at the Asian Institute of Management, she is the founder of Chiqui Rodriguez Inc. Prior to launching her own company, she is also an executive from two of the world's Fortune 100 companies.
She started Chiqui Rodriguez, Inc. in 2020 out of a studio in Angono, the artist capital of the Philippines, and has been venturing in different development initiatives for the art and media sector since.
Chiqui, a Fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts (London) and Steward of the Council for Inclusive Capitalism (New York) believes that hard work is a form of meditation and the solace that we find through meditation can help us deal with reality more effectively. She is one of the renowned artists of Saatchi Art and the National Commission for Culture and the Arts.
